Backside Cutback              Rider: Miguel              Location: El Cabezo/ Tenerife

 

1 For a radical backside- ride it's very important, to have lots of speed.

2 Try to go as vertical, as possible and hit the wave right at the breaking part.

 

3 While slashing the board off the lip, give pressure on the mastfoot, and push the sail with the backhand.

4 Bring the bodyweight over the board.

 

5 You finish the move downwind. To keep on sailing,carve the board into the wind.
