Christmastime hasn't been that windy this year. Most of the days the wind was just strong enaugh, to go kiting (or windsurfing with 6,5 and bigger). Surfers have been more lucky: there have been nice waves since almost 6 weeks now (apart from some days off), so that we visited Las Americas more frequently, than El Cabezo

Although the end of December hasn't been very windy, at least a cupple of days made it possible, to sail El Cabezo. Apart from those few days, other watersports have been dominating Tenerife's beaches: kiteboarding and wavesurfing.

On Saturday, 13th of  January, the Tradewind blew, again, and almost everybody was sailing. Sails between 4,7 and 5,3 and waves of 1,5 meters were the perfect choice and allowed some relaxed wavesailing.

Miguel, the owner of the "Goiter", one of El Médanos most popular bars, is out, too. He seems to be very motivated, and goes for some radical and spectacular moves: Table Top- Air Jibe- combinations, Gu Screws and tweaked Frontside- Aerials.

Meanwhile Marc Shinn, Tenerife's Kiteboarding- Pro is on the water, too. He doesn't only jump incredibly high, but also uses his Wakeboard, to ride some waves.
