L.A. worked almost daily

That's the way, it's got to be- since nearly one week the tradewinds blow strong enough for some nice wavesailing and full- power kite- action! While windsurfers take sails between 4,2 and 4,7 m², the few kiters that dare to go out have to choose their smallest weapons. As if that wasn't enough, the waves in Las Americas continue breaking. The local Triathlon: surfing in the morning, windsurfing at midday, kiting in the evening (after that: eat & sleep)!

Daniel Bruch: Backloop one handed

This week El Cabezo offered it's typical wavesailing conditions: strong wind  and waves between 1 and 3 meters. Corresponding to this the sailors were on fire: more and more guys jump high Backloops, Pushloops and wave- moves like Goiters or Gu- Screws.

On Saturday 27th Daniel Bruch went for the highest backloops- to high:
while losing control during a fat jump, he hurt his back. A hospital- visit and some (weeks?) days without sailing were the result.

Freestyle

While Cabezo and the "harbour wall" were scenes of hardcore waveperformance, the conditions in the bay of El Médano haven't been that extreme: waves of maximum 1 meter were perfect for freestyle and less experienced sailors.

Who's higher? Two huge Frontloops: Bart David and Daniel Bruch in need of oxygen- mascs.
